Trunkey Creek Show

The 35th Annual 2017 Trunkey Creek Show incorporating the Wool & Horse Festival is attracting wide interest this year. Along with the renowned wool competition for the Australian Champion Fleece and the horse Royal Performance Show the Trunkey Creek show will feature two new attractions this year. The inaugural Draught Horse Log Snig and the Historic Tractor display will add to the extensive and entertaining performances throughout the day.

Proceedings will commence at 9.00am and are schedule to conclude around 5.00pm. The official Show Opening will take place at 1pm by Kerry Johns the Show President.

The inaugural Draught Horse Log Snig is set to take place between 12 – 1pm however the ‘big horses’ will be on hand for people to view and admire throughout the day. The historic tractor display will run throughout the day with detailed information about the tractors history on display.

In addition to the above a sample of other great attractions at this year’s show are:

·         A wide variety of merchandise stalls featuring a huge range of items

·         Yard Dog Trials

·         Quality Quick Shear ($600 Prize Money)

·         Cross Country Foot Race for children 13 and under (9.00am entry – 9.30am start)

·         Dog High Jump

·         Flowers & Floral Arrangements

·         Photography

·         Junior Artwork

·         Craft Competition featuring 7 different sections

·         Cooking - both Adults and Under 16 categories

·         Jams and Sauces

·         Children's Pet Show (11.00am)

·         Antique vehicle display

Naturally, we wouldn't be the Wool & Horse Festival without Horse events which are also run on the day. We always have a high quality of entrants as a Royal Performance Show.
