Catriona McAuliffe
 

Currently a sheep farmer, business partner, insurance representative, and dedicated volunteer with the Yass Show Society, Catriona brings extensive experience across agriculture, small business, and the not-for-profit sector.

Her professional background includes committee administration, conference management, stakeholder engagement, and developing strategic partnerships through roles with Engineers Australia and as a Regional Manager with NSW Farmers. A self-taught bookkeeper, she joined the Yass Show Society as Treasurer and has contributed to the organisation’s financial management and governance for more than two decades.  She has served Group 7 as Secretary and is currently the Group’s Treasurer.

In 2020, Catriona was recognised as a "Hidden Treasure" on the NSW Department of Primary Industries’ NSW Hidden Treasures Honour Roll, and was part of the Organising Committee of the 2020 Rural Women’s Gathering which eventually took place in Forbes in 2022, due to Covid.

By working closely with member societies, volunteers, industry partners, sponsors, and government stakeholders, Catriona seeks to strengthen relationships, foster opportunities, and support the ongoing success of agricultural shows and rural communities. She is a passionate advocate for the agricultural show movement and is committed to ensuring its value and contribution to communities are recognised, promoted, and supported well into the future.
