Show History
The Henty Pastoral and Agricultural Society was formed in October 1904. An early fair or exhibition followed, with the first recorded show held in September 1905 on vacant land beside the School of Arts, which served as the pavilion. The present showground was gazetted in 1906, and all shows have been held there since. In 1982, a $78,000 recreational complex was opened on the site, also serving the local football club, pony club, trotting fraternity and netballers.
