A Tremendous Success
Celebrating Ag Shows 2026 brought together hundreds of Show volunteers and members from across New South Wales for an afternoon of learning, celebration and connection.
Thank you to all our members who took the time to get online and be part of Celebrating Ag Shows 2026. Your support, engagement and passion for Agricultural Shows are what make events like this worthwhile, and we sincerely appreciate you spending the afternoon with us.
Held online on Saturday 20 June, the conference proved that Show people can still come together, share ideas and have plenty of fun, no matter where they are in the State.
The new Watch Party concept was a great success, with groups gathering locally to enjoy the conference together. Members praised the quality of the presentations, the smooth production and the opportunity to network with fellow Showies.
Highlights included sessions on governance, risk management, education and volunteers, together with the ever-popular Great Debate – High Tech v Heritage, which had everyone laughing while proving there is room for both innovation and tradition in our Show movement.
AgShows NSW was honoured that Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Patron of AgShows NSW opened the Conference and The Hon. Tara Moriarty MLC, Vice Patron of AgShows NSW sent a message of support.
A huge thank you to our Convenor Patrice Douglas, our presenters, sponsors, debate teams, Loghic, Writers Who, Louisa Gilmour 2026 Young Woman, Jill Chapman, President AgShows NSW & Nicky Seeto AgShow NSW Executive Officer and everyone who contributed to making CAS2026 such a memorable success.
