Show History 

The Lockhart Agricultural and Pastoral Society held its first show in September 1906 and remains strong today, having weathered droughts, depression and two world wars. The initial one-day event soon expanded to two days. Farm horses dominated for two decades before the machine age took hold. Since 1928, the society has sponsored field wheat competitions, with members winning Riverina honours on five occasions.
