Preparing Our Best for Nationals – NSW Development Weekend
AgShows NSW is proud to continue investing in the next generation of agricultural show leaders, with our NSW National Finalist Development Weekend set for 13–14 June 2026 in Dubbo.
This important weekend brings together our Young Judges and Paraders finalists as they prepare to represent NSW at the National Finals in Brisbane this August. The program is designed to build confidence, refine skills and ensure our finalists are competition ready.
Across the weekend, participants will:
- Strengthen public speaking and microphone skills
- Refine judging techniques through mock scenarios
- Take part in one-on-one mentoring with industry experts
- Practice in realistic National Finals conditions
- Connect as a team and represent NSW with pride
A highlight will be the presentation of uniforms and the opportunity to hear from special guest speakers, helping our finalists’ step into the national arena with confidence.
We are also inviting finalists to contribute their ideas, with a pre-weekend Zoom brainstorming session to ensure the program continues to evolve and deliver real value.
We wish all our NSW finalists the very best as they prepare to showcase their skills on the national stage!
